   The Advanced Learners’ Grammar is a comprehensive advanced level grammar of the English language with cross-referenced practice exercises and a full set of diagnostic tests.

   This Teacher’s Guide is intended as a practical aid to teachers. You can turn to it for notes on the content of a unit and how to approach the exercises, for suggestions for classroom activities, and for answers to the exercises in the text.

   Understanding and Using English Grammar is a high-intermediate to advanced level ESL/EFL developmental skills text. In the experience of most classroom teachers, language learners appreciate spending at least some time on grammar with a teacher to help them. The process of looking at and practicing grammar becomes a springboard for expanding the learners’ abilities in speaking, writing, listening, and reading.

The Anti-Grammar Grammar Book, Hall N., Shepheard J., 1991.

   The Anti-Grammar Grammar Book certainly promotes grammar - the investigation of rules of form and corresponding meanings in the language system.
It is anti-grammar in that it sets out to avoid giving students rules. Instead it casts the students in the role of ‘thinker’, providing them with cognitive, problem-solving tasks to discover grammatical rules and meanings for themselves. The material does not say, ‘Here is a rule and a meaning, learn them!’ but rather, ‘Here is a sample of English - discover the rules and meanings for yourself!’
The Anti-Grammar Grammar Book also sets out to avoid the conventional gap-fill and transformation exercises which proliferate in existing materials. Instead it provides a variety of cognitive, involving, and creative activities to practise language both in controlled and freer frameworks. The content of the exercises is intended not just to present and practise language areas but to be of interest to the student in its own right. All of the activities have been fully tried and tested in classrooms.

Keynote Proficien, Teacher's Book, Hall D., 2018.

   The units in Keynote Elementary culminate in a TED Talk. These talks are given by speakers from all walks of life, countries and fields of work and provide a rich and varied basis for the teaching and learning of authentic English. See section 2 for more about TED.
Each level contains enough material for between 90 and 120 hours’ classroom work. Teachers can reduce this time by giving some preparation tasks to students to do at home (such as watching the TED Talks) or extend it with the extra activities in the teaching notes and the photocopiable communicative activities at the back of this book.
