   English Grammar in Use Supplementary Exercises is for intermediate and advanced students who want extra practice in grammar, without help from a teacher.
There are 200 exercises in this new edition. Each exercise relates to a unit or units in English Grammar in Use Fourth Edition, with the unit number(s) at the top of the page. All the answers are given in the Key (pages 121-137). Some exercises ask you to use your own ideas. For these, you can check the Example answers in the Key. You can use this book if you don't have English Grammar in Use, but for an explanation of the grammar points, you need to check in English Grammar in Use.

Cambridge Practice Tests for First Certificate 2, Carne P., Hashemi L., Thomas B., 1996.

   The First Certificate in English (FCE) is an examination at intermediate level which is offered by UCLES (the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate). This book contains four practice tests which are very similar to the exam. You can use them to help you prepare for FCE. This book is for students preparing for the Cambridge Preliminary English Test. It covers the grammar you need for the exam. You can use it with a general English language course for extra grammar practice or with practice tests as part of a revision programme. You can use it in class or for self-study.

   This new edition of Objective PET is the result of extensive updating and revision in consultation with teachers around the world who have been using the book with their classes.

Translation (suitable for most units).
• For monolingual classes with bilingual teachers. Translate the target words into the students’ mother tongue. Give them a separate list of definitions (in English) and the translations (not in the same order).
• First ask students to match the definitions to the words in their mother tongue, then ask them to provide the English words. This is a useful exercise for students whose mother tongue is not similar to English and who have particular problems with remembering vocabulary and spelling.
